These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, products, and services offered by Engineered Built Solutions ("EBS", "we", "us", "our"). By browsing this website, requesting a quotation, or purchasing a product or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
"Services" refers to the design, manufacture, supply, delivery, and installation of prefab homes, container homes, steel structures and related products. "Client" refers to any person or entity entering into an agreement with EBS for the provision of Services.
2. Quotations & Pricing
All quotations are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change based on raw material costs, currency fluctuations, and project specifications. A quotation does not constitute a binding contract until a formal order has been accepted in writing by EBS.
3. Orders & Payment
- A non-refundable deposit (typically 40–50%) is required to confirm production.
- Progress payments may be required during manufacturing.
- Final balance is payable prior to dispatch or delivery.
- All payments must be received in cleared funds before release of goods.
4. Delivery & Installation
Estimated delivery and installation timelines are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. EBS shall not be liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to shipping disruptions, customs procedures, weather, or force majeure events.
5. Site Readiness
The Client is responsible for ensuring the installation site is accessible, level, and prepared in accordance with EBS's site-readiness checklist. Additional costs incurred due to unprepared sites will be invoiced to the Client.
6. Warranty
EBS warrants its structures against manufacturing defects for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of installation, subject to normal use and proper maintenance. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modifications, natural disasters, or normal wear and tear.
7. Permits & Approvals
Securing local building permits, planning approvals, and utility connections is the responsibility of the Client unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
8. Intellectual Property
All designs, drawings, renders, and content on this website are the intellectual property of EBS. Reuse, reproduction, or redistribution without written consent is prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EBS's total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Guyana.
11. Changes to Terms
EBS reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
